Privacy policy

Blast Buddies is a multiplayer game for Android (and later iOS) made by the Blast Buddies team ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game and this website collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
In short: we store a sign-in ID, the username and buddy you pick, and your game stats. We do not show ads, we do not sell or rent data, and you can delete your account at any time from the game's Settings.
What we collect

The game also keeps a few settings on your phone only (vibration, control sizes, chosen server, players you recently played with). These never leave your device.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, advertising ID or payment details, and the game has no ads or advertising trackers.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We use a few service providers who process data for us:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, and data storage) to sign you in, keep your account, and (Crashlytics) receive crash reports. See Firebase privacy and security.
- Google Sign-In, only if you choose it.
- Our server hosting provider in India, which runs the game servers.
- Google Play, which distributes the app under Google's privacy policy.
Other players see only your username, buddy look, and what happens in matches you play together. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect players from cheating, abuse or harm.
How long we keep it
We keep your account for as long as you have it. When you delete it, your username, buddy, stats and sign-in account are deleted right away from the live service. Copies in our nightly backups are removed within 14 days, and server logs within 30 days.
A guest account lives only on the phone that created it. If you uninstall the game without adding Google, you lose access to it. Contact us with the username and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Change your username and buddy any time in the game.

- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask any privacy question, by writing to support@blastbuddies.com. We reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have further rights, such as to object or to complain to a data protection authority. We will help you use them.
Children
Blast Buddies is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
All traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS and secure WebSockets). Access to servers and data is limited to the team members who run the game.
International transfers
Our game servers are in India. Google Firebase may process data in other countries, under Google's safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the game if the change is significant.
